Nestled in the beautiful valley of Tonteldoos, Riverman Cabin Country Lodge is the perfect place to exchange traffic for donkeys lazily grazing, rushed lunches for a picnic in nature and city noises for an evening song, sung by crickets and orchestrated by frogs, a surplus of fresh country air and wide-open spaces. Riverman Cabin is situated in the Tonteldoos Valley, +-30 km northeast of Dullstroom, which is approximately a 3-hour drive from Johannesburg.
The farm features 7 pet friendly cottages and cabins (5 which are fenced off), rustically elegant and decorated in a unique style with cozy indoor fireplaces as well as private external braai areas, fully furnished and equipped for a homely self-catering experience and perfect for a couple, families, friends and group bookings.
On-site you will find a quaint wedding chapel, A rustic country style Wedding reception and events hall, Driving range, Fly Fishing dam, Bass fishing pond, Doggie splash dam and Boma, We are the perfect establishment for Birding, Hiking, Mountain biking and training at high altitudes.

Each one of our 7 cottages and cabins are rustically elegant and decorated in a unique style with cozy indoor fireplaces as well as private external braai areas, fully furnished and equipped for a homely self-catering experience and perfect for a couple, families, friends and group bookings.
All of our cottages and Cabins are Pet Friendly with some fenced off cottages to keep cheeky donkeys out and your fur-babies nearby.

Pet Friendly Fenced Cottages
We are Pet Friendly with 5 of our cottages and cabins that are fenced off (Dragonfly, Pheasant Tail, Golden, Flyinn and Wigglystone) some with high fencing for larger dogs and others with picket fencing for the little ones.

I would highly recommend Riverman Cabin. They will definitely see us again! No 4x4 needed, the gravel road is challenging, but such a fun part of the experience. Such a peaceful and tranquil getaway. The hosts are lovely people, very helpful, accommodating and extremely knowledgeable about Dullies and the surroundings.
