Travelling with your dog has never been easier. Every one of our seven self-catering cottages and cabins is securely fenced, giving both you and your four-legged companions the freedom to relax and enjoy your stay. Some cottages are perfectly suited to smaller breeds, while others offer larger, more secure gardens for bigger or more adventurous dogs.
One of the highlights for canine guests is our popular Doggie Dam, where they can splash, swim and cool off after exploring the farm. Scenic walking trails, open fields and quiet country roads provide endless opportunities to discover the beauty of the Highveld together, while guests without pets can simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings, exceptional birdlife and spectacular scenery.
After a day outdoors, visit the Donkey Deli, our charming self-service farm shop stocked with locally produced treats, artisan products, gifts and everyday essentials. Before you leave, don't forget to spoil our friendly rescue donkeys with a bag of donkey treats.
As evening falls, return to your cosy cottage, light the fireplace or braai under a sky filled with stars, and experience the peace and simplicity that keep guests returning to Riverman year after year.

All seven of our cottages and cabins are securely fenced, providing a safe and enjoyable space for your four-legged companions. Some units feature higher, more secure fencing ideal for larger or more adventurous dogs, while others have picket fencing better suited to smaller breeds.
We kindly ask all guests travelling with pets to read our Pet Policy on the "Good to Know" page before arriving.

Each one of our 7 cottages and cabins are rustically elegant and decorated in a unique style with cozy indoor fireplaces as well as private outside braai areas, fully furnished and equipped for a homely self-catering experience and perfect for a couple, families, friends and group bookings.
All of our cottages and Cabins are Pet Friendly with some fenced off cottages to keep cheeky donkeys out and your fur-babies nearby.

Tucked away near the driving range, our Donkey Deli is a cosy, self-service honesty deli designed to make your stay even more comfortable. Stocked with thoughtfully chosen essentials and indulgent treats, it’s the perfect stop for a quick top-up or an unplanned delight.
Browse a selection of local jams, honey, cheeses, snacks, ice cream, cold drinks, and hot beverages, along with practical comforts, self-care essentials, and a few charming locally made curios. You’ll also find treats for our long-eared locals, golf balls and club hire, and books and board games for slow, lazy afternoons.
